Naomi Campbell Won’t Be a Hostage to her Past

In those poorly-chosen words Naomi Campbell lets you know the price you’ll pay, if you keep bringing up her violent past. The model, who turns 40-years-old on May 22, 2010, spoke out regarding the latest in a long line of assault allegations.

Her driver, Miodrag Mejdina, pulled over and told a traffic agent that Campbell had assaulted him. Then he either had a change of heart after the initial complaint or just didn’t want someone tall, thin, and fabulous firebombing his house. Either way, Campbell got away with it again. She said she’d worked hard to wriggle out of any real consequences for her previous actions and would not be held hostage to her past. Oddly, I’m not putting that many words in her mouth.

“I was accused of unacceptable behavior towards a driver in New York,” [Campbell] says. “I have worked very hard on correcting my previous wrongdoings and I will not be held hostage to my past.”

Kevin and Elizabeth Schatz adopted three children from Liberia three years ago to join their six biological children. Prosecutors say that the couple used a quarter-inch plastic tubing to beat their seven-year-old adopted daughter to death for mispronouncing a word during a homeschool lesson.

Kevin and Elizabeth Schatz, the Paradise,Ca couple accused of murdering their 7-year-old adopted daughter during a discipline session last Saturday morning were arraigned in court Tuesday. The couple is also charged with the torture of their 11-year-old adopted daughter, who remains in critical condition at a Sacramento hospital, and a misdemeanor count of cruelty to a child for signs of bruising discovered on their 10-year-old biological son. 

The couple has not yet entered a plea. A further arraignment hearing was continued until today at 8:30 a.m. Both are currently being held on $2 million bail. Kevin, 46, and Elizabeth, 42 could face life in prison upon conviction.

Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey said both girls sustained extensive bruising and whip-like marks on their bodies that were consistent with a 15-inch length of rubber or flexible plastic tubing - commonly found in toilet tanks. There were a total of nine children living in the Schatz home - six biological children ranging in ages 8-16 and three adopted children. Ramsey said the other children indicated they were disciplined in a similar manner, but none of them displayed any signs of abuse. The children were taken into custody and released to the Butte County Children's Services Division.

Former NFL Star Warren Sapp arrested for Domestic Violence

Former NFL star Warren Sapp was arrested by Miami Beach police this afternoon and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery stemming from an allegedly violent confrontation with his girlfriend.

According to the Miami Beach Police Department, Sapp is accused of attacking his girlfriend of two years at around 5:00 AM Saturday at the Shore Club Hotel.

According to the arrest report, the alleged victim had "a swollen right knee and bruises on the back of her neck."

Comedian Andy Dick Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse

Comedian Andy Dick has been arrested for two counts of felony sexual abuse, while still on probation from his infamous 2008 arrest for pulling down a teen girl's top.

The attack allegedly happened early Saturday morning in West Virginia, after Dick appeared at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant in Huntington.  Dick is currently in the Western Regional Jail, police confirm.

"Based upon statements of two victims and independent witness accounts alleging that he had engaged in unwanted and uninvited groping of the two victims' genital areas, Andrew R. Dick (AKA Andy Dick) of South Pasadena, Calif., was arrested and charged with two counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree," read a statement from the Huntington Police Department.

G-Unit Rapper Lloyd Banks arrested for assault

Rapper Lloyd Banks has been arrested on suspicion of assault in Canada.
